Set to hold this weekend on 21st & 22nd May at Strathmore University, Startup Weekend, a local grassroots movement of active and empowered entrepreneurs who are learning the basics of founding and launching successful ventures aims to utilize entrepreneurship to improve education.
The event is looking for entrepreneurs in Kenya who are building solutions to help improveor transform education in the country. The competition will take innovators though Design thinking, Innovative Business strategies, relentless hacking and designing to help them create ventures that are poised to create high caliber outcomes for the local Education sector.
According to the organizers, winning teams will take home awards as well as be incubated at@iBizAfrica. Top Winner gets gets interview with Imagine k12, Leading global edTech accelerator for potential funding and acceleration.
