mailoutNigeria’s Termii Networks, an enterprise networking startup founded two years ago by Emmanuel Tolulope has launched GetMailout, a pay per use custom email newsletter for organizations to give users the opportunity to monitor the progress of their sent newsletter campaigns.

According to Tolulope, GetMailout works simply. A user places a campaign request, describes what type of campaign and design they want then they’ll receive an invoice for the campaign. After payment either online or via bank transfer, GetMailout reviews the payment then activates the campaign within 24 hours.

In the background, GetMailout does the design and sends out a campaign preview and on approval sends the newsletter to the client’s contact list.

Tolulope says Mailout has various templates according to a client’s need. GetMailout has a religious, business, education and e-commerce and a customer can pay around ₦5,000 fee to get started on their campaign. The firm says the Email Template Design costs ₦5,000 per design, ₦500 per campaign and ₦50kobo per recipient. For one to send a newsletter to 1,000 subscribers, they’ll pay a total of ₦6,000 i.e ₦500 plus ₦500 campaign fee and ₦5,000 design fee which is optional.

Though it’s too early to judge, being an enterprise email newsletter, GetMailout might need to add SMS, mobile and social media newsletters than just sticking on email to reach even those who are offline or who have no smartphones. GetMailout could add quotations, receipts and invoices among others plus admin analytics for its clients.
