111086486__427408cPan-African online and mobile payments solution provider, 3G Direct Pay Limited has launched QuickPay, a mobile application that enables merchants to launch their card and mobile transactions on their mobile phones anywhere, anytime.

QuickPay, also known as mSwipe+, allows users to generate a link which is sent to the client to complete the transaction via a debit, prepaid and credit cards, as well as all mobile money networks in Africa.

According to the Managing Director of 3G Direct Pay Group, Eran Feinstein, “The mobile phone is at the center of many people’s lives. This app facilitates payments to be made through this growing platform. This is in line with our tradition as a firm, grounded in the belief that anyone should have the freedom to shop, sell, pay, and get paid online, easier, faster and more securely.”

Able to work on any card type, mobile money and to pay instantly, QuickPay can only be used by merchants who have signed up to the 3G Direct Pay network, is available for download on the Google Play Store. The development of the IOS version of the app is ongoing. The application generates confirmation of the transaction real-time.

The chip and pin card reader that (QuickPay) mSwipe+ uses a secure card payment, has chip encryption, requires PIN identification and transaction liability is with the issuer. The app is also PCI DSS secure.
