Naspers-backed OLX has launched Storia.ro, a real estate platform for its customers in Romania, making an impression that the firm is willing to play further into Romania’s and other market’s real estate markets with more premium platforms catering for the high-end market.
OLX is live in several other markets where Naspers already runs Property24 but its yet to fully monetize it, Storia is a bit different and with it OLX might bring in the top clientel it needs. If it tries it in Africa, Storia might bring in sanity into online classifieds mostly by selectively approving premium sellers only. Storia representing the families as they are, for better or worse. Real families who, despite differences and problems of everyday manage to remain united.
The firm says the Storia platform is part of its solution for real estate and OLX. The site complements OLX Real Estate category and AtlaStock CRM solution that facilitates access to both platforms but with a cleaner search and more relevant results.
