GrowthAfrica’s 2016 Accelerator class is open for applications for startups from Ethiopia and Kenya before August 31, 2016 in a move to support post revenue early stage entrepreneurs in Africa who are ambitious, talented and committed to impacting society positively through their businesses.
GrowthAfrica will work through making businesses investment ready and providing access to fully vetted local and international investors.
The accelerator is looking for motivated entrepreneurs in a variety of sectors, but of particular interest is agribusiness, financial services, mobile/ICT, health, education, water and sanitation, energy, manufacturing of affordable products for the BOP, innovative retail and distribution concepts.

The successful startup entrepreneurs will for six months be taught about business models and all its constituents, analyzing them to bits with the help of a team of skilled and experienced business executives, successful entrepreneurs, maven investors and the GrowthAfrica team, who themselves are experienced entrepreneurs, consultants, mentors and advisors to successful business across the region.
There will be 5-day boot camp and the six 3-day workshops to equip entrepreneurs with tools to diagnose their business and devise strategies to optimize their business in all conceivable areas. After each workshop entrepreneurs will work in-company with the assistance of mentors, facilitators, growth catalysts and sages to implement their new strategies and innovations – boosting their growth trajectory in significant ways.
