Germany’s Netzmarkt starts heavy push of Gigajob across Africa

gigajob
Gigajob, run and owned by Germany’s Netzmarkt has been somehow abandoned for years across major markets in Africa but in a steady turn of events the firm has steadily starting hiring teams on-ground in selected markets and in a move to deepen its relevance and reach across Africa.
From the look of things, Netzmarkt no longer thinks organic growth is good for Gigajob to grow and is adding some fuel by setting mini-bureaus with small teams spread across the continent’s business hubs.
Preetu Gupta, who was working with Gigajob South Africa and now part of the Gigajob Kenya team briefly told TechMoran, ” Gigajob.com is fast growing job board available in 150 countries worldwide in several different languages and which can  be used Free of cost by both employers and employees.”Unlike One Africa Media’s BrighterMonday and Jobberman which offer some premium placement services, Gigajob connects employers and employees together for free just like a classified ad in a newspaper and job portals Gigajob works with job seekers, employers, and placement agencies and allows them to post job vacancies and CVs free of charge.
The firm also allows free access to its job database, or contact relevant people in case the job vacancy or job seeker interests you.Apart from online banners ads which Gigajob is proving to be good at, TechMoran is yet to learn how Gigajob.com makes its cut but as part of the Netzmarkt Internet Service GmbH & Co. KG, based in the northern Bavarian university town of Erlange, Germany, the firm has organically grown and expanded in more markets without huge marketing budgets just like Craiglist. The firm is present in India, Cape Town, Johannesburg, Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, DRC, Uganda, Tanzania, Zimbabwe and many others
