Microsoft announced last year that it was set to sell its entry-level feature phone assets to FIH Mobile Ltd., a subsidiary of Hon Hai/Foxconn Technology Group, and HMD Global Oy but that transaction isn’t closed yet, so expect this to be the last or second last feature phone from Microsoft.
The Nokia 216 and Nokia 216 Dual SIM will become available in Kenya on November 2016, starting from USD 34. The phones have two cameras with LED flash, are internet-enabled and users can download apps from the Opera Mobile Store.
The phones can store up to 2000 contacts, and have a memory card support of up to 32GB are available in black, grey, and blue.
