digital-lab-africa

A few months ago Digital Lab Africa called on for projects that began in June this year and ended in August 2016. There were many entries made, among them were 522 from sub-Saharan countries. The response proved that Africa has a potential in multi-media content that just needed to be spotted and nurtured. While applications were made, it was noted that South Africa and Nigeria lead the pack with respectively 159 and 86 entries, followed by Ivory Coast (49) and Cameroon (48). In terms of categories, web creation and trans media registered the highest number of entries (225), ahead of digital music (150), video game (82) and virtual reality (59).
