Jobyina.com is an internship site for students, school leavers and job seekers based in Nigeria. The site works with other corporate firms to identify young job seekers to help them learn and get experience away from their school environment.
Founded by Lasisi Olatunbosun, the platform recruits, develops and deploys students to companies locally and abroad for internships, graduate internships, and quality career opportunities for students, graduates and entry level talent.
Olatunbosun says the firm is talking to internship platforms such as Globalplacement.com, GoAbroad.com, EuroPlacement.com and InternAvenue.com to place their startups into global firms and multinationals away from Nigeria and Africa either for 3 months, 6 months, 12 months or depending on the firm’s needs.
The firm also sources local and international talents periodically from Universities and Polytechnics to organizations in need of interns and short term staff. Both companies and interns register on the site for free and post their vacancies or apply for jobs online. The firm earns revenue from an advertising model and says it already has some paying customers.
Paying clients have their interns selected, screened, interviewed and dispatched. The firm says each client’s first two Interns are free while an additional Intern will cost #5,000 upon placement. The firm intends to run premium services for Interns at a fee such as CV packaging, Workplace Ettiquete and Ethics training, Graduate Internship Programs and many more.
