Greymate Care is Providing In-home Care to the Vulnerable in Nigeria

In today’s world, juggling several tasks in a day is quite challenging, and many times, it feels like there’s not enough time. Having someone close to us who needs special care, support, or protection because of age/disability is even more challenging, as one might end up dumping all personal businesses just to attend to them.

Having a caregiver at times like that, can come in handy. But in Nigeria, it’s difficult to find people who are willing yo take up such role.

This is the gap that Chika Madubuko hopes to fill with Greymart Care.

The startup was launched on the 1st of October, 2016 to be “Nigeria’s ace provider of in-home care to the elderly, vulnerable, convalescent and disabled”.

According to the founder, “it is an online platform that connects the elderly, weak, disabled and convalescent to a caregiver right in the comfort of their homes. We aim to take the stress of care off their family members who are busy, thus leaving with one less worry. Having a sick loved one is already enough strain financially and emotionally, it should not stress them physically too”.
