JOBVINE, a job’s portal recently launched in Kenya aims to help its users get work opportunities and fulfill passport and Visa requirements to work and stay abroad as jobs continually become hard to come by in the country.
According to JOBVINE, working abroad has become a common practice among many qualified professionals in Kenya, but things can often become problematic when travelling to a distant country. Especially once you realise that every country has different requirements when it comes to who they let through their borders.
“Each country is different, and if you don’t have a passport for where you’re travelling to, you’ll often have it hard to get a Visa. But figuring out the visa and passport requirements for each country can be troublesome and time-consuming,” announced the firm. “That’s why JOBVINE has put together a map that makes it as simple as possible to find various travel information, foreign embassies, and anything else you would like to know before having to cross foreign borders.”
JOBVINE is a recruitment based website, where job seekers scan through a selection of employment opportunities placed through recruitment agencies or individual companies. Companies and recruiters advertise their jobs for free on the site and manage their entire Job advertising service through JOBVINE.
JOBVINE says common reasons why Kenyans are leaving the country include unemployment or career growth and education. Approximately 800 000 young Kenyans enter the job market yearly and youth unemployment is estimated to be as high as 35%, compared to the overall national unemployment rate of 10%. Furthermore, 80% of unemployed Kenyans are below 35 years old.
With these new map, JOBVINE says Kenyan youth can have easier access to the global job market from the comfort of their homes. For those looking to work abroad, all the possible travel requirements have been broken down and put on a map, so that it’s simple and easy to find. That way, they can continue searching for their next overseas job while still planning their next trip abroad.
