Music streaming service Deezer has launched Deezer Next, a newly created programme aimed at identifying and championing emerging talent in addition to providing an avenue for exposure to new audiences on the Deezer platform.
Deezer Next is an exciting new initiative exclusive to Deezer users, which allows them to discover a hand-picked selection of new, emerging artists from South Africa and beyond. Deezer Next will promote these artists to new audiences and enable music lovers to discover the next generation of stars.
Globally Deezer Next has already rolled-out its priority artists, who are Rag’N’Bone Man, Anne-Marie and Maggie Rogers, and is now excited to officially announce the four Deezer Next South African artists. This diverse group of artists span a range of genres, but are all making a name for themselves and promise exciting things for the future.
Some of the musicians on the platform now include South Africa’s Dominic Neill, Raheem Kemet, Southern Wild, Robin Thirdfloor (aka Simphiwe Nyawose) among others. While globally Deezer Next Global Artists include Rag ‘n’ Bone Man, Anne-Marie and Maggie Rogers.
