Tomachy.com, a restaurant search and discovery platform has launched in Nigeria in a move expected to help foodies discover, rate and review restaurants, as well as connect them to other foodies across the country.
Founded by Charles Odibo and Segun Bright, the restaurant search and discovery platform will also introduce online ordering and table reservations for top restaurants in the country to increase their orders and help them increase their revenues and customer reach. Tomachy allows restaurant owners to sign up for a profile, add photos and menus then customers can find them online, book or order food or simply visit, review and rate the restaurant on the platform and share it with their friends and would-be customers online.
At launch, Tomachy is boasting of over 20,000 restaurants, bars, and night clubs across 36 states in Nigeria and is continuing to sign up more in its mission to connect people with the best restaurants and cafes in any location in the country. The firm has embarked on getting together a comprehensive listing of all restaurants and cafes in Nigeria to give users a variety of options to choose from.
The restaurants or cafes are location based therefore users can simply search by location or by interest to narrow down the restaurant they are looking for. Tomachy says it has already mapped over 5000 locations nationwide and is adding online food ordering, table booking, menu listing and search by interest with search options such as fine dining; breakfast; continental; home-cooking; pocket-friendly, night life among others.
“In a first of its kind in Nigeria, we are creating amazing engagement tools for restaurants and cafes listed for FREE on Tomachy to enable them engage with, reach out to and connect with customers more regularly,” said Odibo. Tomachy aims to help users discover restaurants to increase their sales, give the restaurants an online presence and maintain their reputation, help restaurants track the performance of their marketing and connect restaurants to customers for feedback.
