Huawei P10 launched in the Kenyan Market, comes with World’s First Leica selfie camera and Go Pro photo editor

Huawei has released their Flagship phone, the Huawei P10 into the Kenyan Market. The device is targeted to those who are socially and technologically conscious thanks to its premium workmanship, class leading photography and latest specifications. 

The device comes with the world’s first Leica Co-engineered selfie camera – Leica is a leading German camera manufacturer and photography guru – they have enabled the front camera to have a brighter sensor and larger aperture for outstanding self-portraits. The 8MP selfie camera will also produce pictures which have the signature Leica look, which means true-to-life colors. 


The rear camera is already Leica certified since the launch of the predecessor, Huawei P9, its a dual sensor with 20MP monochrome (black and white) + 12MP colored sensor. Combining the dual sensors leads to better low light shots, hybrid zoom and a natural bokeh effect.

Huawei also partnered with Go Pro to co-develop the photo editing software. With this editor, you can create a dynamic video of images and clips complete with transitions and music tracks.

The rest of the specs include a the latest Kirin 960 chipset with 4GB RAM and very generous 64GB expandable internal storage. In addition, their is a 5.1 inch Full HD screen, powered by 3200mAh running on Android 7.0 on custom EMUI 5.1  enclosed in a very attractively designed metallic body. True to Huawei’s leading position in network technology, they have fitted the P10 with with 4 hidden antennas to provide 4.5G connectivity and dual WIFI receivers for easier and faster networking.

The device will be priced at KES 64,999 in leading online and offline stores and outlets. It will be offered in Mystic Silver, Rose Gold, Graphite Black, Dazzling Gold, Dazzling Blue, Greenery colors.
