LG introduces next-gen smart cordless vacuum cleaners

With the rise of Internet of Things, home appliances have been made smarter and automated. LG has tapped into innovations applied in varied fields – such as cordless technology from mobile phones- and integrated it to home appliances. 

The company just announced new gadgets in their Cord Zero series they include the Canister, Handstick and the Hom-bot. These three vacuums will enable consumers to enjoy cleaning virtually anywhere in their house without the usual hustle of ordinary cleaners.

LG is pioneering the cordless technology in this gadgets which will translate to conveniences such as not having to plug into the wall or the power cord getting caught up in furniture, pets or people moving around the house. The Canister has a 40 minutes battery life that is equal to the washing duration of most homes. 

Moreover, the vacuum is equipped with LG’s active following technology which enables the device to use sensors to follow you as you move. You no longer have to worry about dragging the vacuum behind you when you are cleaning.

In addition, to ensure longevity of the Canister’s lifetime, LG used brushless motors which not only give better performance but also lasts longer. Additionally, you can attach different heads on it to handle different kind of tasks. 

The Canister has already received international recognition in its design and usability affording it the gold award during the 2017 International Forum Design Awards (iF). LG did not mention about pricing and availability.
