Huawei Mobile Kenya has introduced the HUAWEI P10 Plus in the Kenyan market after it was first announced at this year’s Mobile Word Congress in Barcelona, Spain.
The Huawei P10 Plus is set to expand the brand’s Leica-powered dual-camera technology on both sides of the device. Its Leica Dual-Camera 2.0 Pro Edition comes with new SUMMILUX-H Leica lenses with a larger F/1.8 aperture able to capture sharper close-up and quick action shots and more light in low conditions and the phone is powered by a Kirin 960 chipset and has 4GBs of RAM.
The main difference between the P10 and P10 Plus is the screen size and resolution, with the P10’s Full HD display coming in at 5.1-inches and the P10 Plus’s Quad-HD display at 5.5-inches protected by Gorilla Glass 5.
According to Mark Hemaobin, General Manager, Huawei Mobile Kenya, the HUAWEI P10 Plus has e enough subtle changes to catering to an audience looking for bigger experiences.
“The P10 Plus is an ultimate photography champion, not to mention an impressive overall performer, courtesy of a top-shelf processor and storage, worthy of a plus-size flagship,” said Hemaobin.
The HUAWEI Plus takes the smartphone efficiency and customization a step further thanks to the all-new EMUI 5.1 and a 3750 mAh battery, HUAWEI SuperCharge technology.
He said the smartphone’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities and a learning algorithm to analyze and adapt to behavior to create personalized experiences will bring a sensationally new smartphone experience.
The P10 Plus comes in a range of color variants. The larger Huawei models have proven popular than the regular ones to the improved specs and performance. Data from IPSOS shows that 92 percent of P9 Plus and Mate 9 owners say they would consider buying another Huawei device in future.
In 2016, high-end smartphone shipments increased to 36 percent of Huawei’s total shipments.
