LG efforts to implement innovative and creative design for it appliances has seen them receive prestigious design awards- IF Gold Award for the cord zero canister vacuum cleaner in addition to the best of best at the Red Dot Design Awards for the smart instaview refrigerator.
LGs home appliances were recognized for standing out in the eyes of artists and consumers alike for both their aesthetics and usability.

The iF Design Award judges recognized LG smart instaview refrigerator for creating a captivating mosaic using 18,072 individual fluorescent light bulbs with artist Sergio Belo and the media artist group -Everywhere , breaking a Guinness World of Record and demonstrating the exceptional energy efficiency of the Centum system refrigerator.
To achieve even better customer experience for its users, LG worked with the prominent New York air sculpture artist Daniel Wartzel using the PuriCare air purifier to create a unique artistic piece which captured the enchanting beauty of purified air. Similarly, the collaboration with world renowned Swiss foodscape artist team Simon & Kim resulted in mesmerizing culinary artwork while also demonstrating the power on Naturefresh technologies to keep food fresher for long.

The iF Design Award is an international design competition hosted by the International Forum Design in Germany. It is one of the world’s three major design awards, along with the Red Dot Design Award and the IDEA Award.
