The number of ride-hailing transport services keeps growing on nearly a daily basis in Nigeria. These services are mainly focused on using Sports Utility Vehicles (SUVs) to ferry passengers to and fro. There is no ride-sharing platform for professionals to book buses individually or as a group.
What these professionals do oftentimes, is either to rent a bus that may appear rickety, scrappy and unbefitting or go in a pool of vehicles.
To ease the way professionals navigate and commute around Lagos, PassportBus has launched.
PassportBus is a ride-hailing bus service that aims to revolutionize how professionals commute around Lagos. With a flexible fleet of luxurious, spacious and wifi-enabled buses, Passport presents the first viable alternative for Lagosians who want to take the stress out of commuting.
Co-founded by Ife Bakare, PassportBus allows users to book and pay for a seat, and get directions to the nearest PassportBus stop.
According to Bakare, “All buses are constantly cleaned and inspected according to our strict guidelines. The drivers on our platform undergo rigorous background checks and all buses are equipped with WIFI.”
PassportBus rides are fairly priced and work out cheaper than driving your own car or using other popular car services to travel.
