Motorola introduces its second dual camera smartphone, Moto G5S Plus

Motorola have released it second dual camera smartphone, the Moto GS5 Plus barely a month after the unveiling the first (Moto Z2 Force) in the month of July.

The Moto G5S Plus smartphone has something I’d love to call a complex relationship with other members of it immediate family. The Moto G5S Plus is the older and more improved version of the Moto G5S. The Moto G5S and G5S Plus were both released as upgrades to the Moto G5 and G5 Plus.

The newly released G5S Plus comes with a 5.5 inches LCD capacitive touchscreen with very high display resolution – 1080 x 1920 pixels. The display quality of the Moto G5S Plus is really promising as the pixel density is also tagged at a high 401 pixels per inch and the display is protected against dust or scratches by the Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

The Android Operating system running on its Qualcomm MSM8953 Snapdragon 625 chipset is the Android v7.1 Nougat and the Octa-core Cortex-A53 processor has a speed of 2.0 GHz.

The G5S Plus Dual rear camera

On the rear of the device lies the highlight of the Moto G5S Plus. Unlike the Moto G5S, the G5S Plus comes with Dual 13 megapixels camera with dual tone LED flash. This positions the Moto G5S Plus as the second smartphone from Motorola to come with a Dual camera. I wonder why it took them so much time though.

On the front, right beneath the screen is a home button that also plays the function of a fingerprint scanner. Other features of the Moto G5S Plus include Night display, Quick reply, single SIM, 4G LTE and 3,000 mAh non-removable battery.
