Jumia Kenya is working with partners and manufactures like Tuskys, Samsung, Unilever, Chandaria, Fero, Hotpoint,  Ramtons and Mika to guarantee lowest prices online in the country.

Dubbed Jumia Price Hero, the “lowest price guarantee” campaign is promising to refund twice the difference on selected items if founder cheaper on other outlets. By sourcing items directly from manufacturers, Jumia eliminates middlemen thereby cutting down the item’s retail prices.

Through the Price Hero campaign, Jumia is curating the biggest range of quality products from trusted sources, and to make these available at the best price in the market. The store says it will reimburse buyers twice the difference between 2nd – 9th October if they find the items below cheaper elsewhere.

Jumia says its customers will shop for deals of up to 50% off on selected categories including home appliances, mobile phones, electronics and groceries.

As techies, we chose the 15.6″ HP laptop powered by Intel Celeron N3060 processor with a 500GB hard disk for just Ksh  26,999. The laptop comes with 4GB RAM  and a free black side bag. The laptop has a massive 15.6-inch diagonal HD display, an Intel® HD graphics card and a DVD burner.

Apart from the HP laptop, Jumia has also identified a selection of 40 products to chose from, including the iPhone 8, Playstation 4, and Samsung 32” TV.  Jumia has warehoused over 1000 bail of Tuskys 2KG sugar which will retail for 40% off form KES 260 to KES 199”.
