As internet penetration grows, paying in cash is slowly giving way to digital payment systems that allows online stores, casinos, and even even restaurants to accept payments from across the world.
Online casinos such as CasinoBillions.com, are also not being left behind. The platform offers popular payment methods such as credit or debit cards such as Visa and Mastercard, plus electronic wallets like PayPal and InstaDebit but the firm has now launched an option to allow players to pay in bitcoins as cryptocurrency becomes the new global digital currency of the 21st century.
Though cyptocurrencies are becoming the popular by the day, still thousands of people don’t understand what cryptocurrencies are and how they work or how they can be part of. In a move to help masses understand and use cryptocurrencies, Binance, a global cryptocurrency exchange founded by Changpeng Zhao has launched Binance Academy, a brand new, open access learning hub from Binance, to provide a one-stop-shop for blockchain and crypto learning resources, open to anyone and for the benefit of all.
According to the company, current topics include Blockchain, Coins & Tokens, Binance, Security, and Trading, with more features to come in the pipeline. The firm has now started introductory videos on topics such as how does blockchain work, what is a coin burn, how to keep your private keys safe and what is the Binance ecosystem among others.
Just a month ago, Binance acquired Trust Wallet, a secure and intuitive mobile wallet to help it provide a better service and to enhance the safety for all of our users. Trust Wallet is touted as a secure, open source, decentralized and anonymous mobile wallet application that supports Ethereum and over 20,000 different Ethereum based tokens (ERC20, ERC223 and ERC721), with a growing user adoption since its launch in November 2017.
For Binance, the acquisition of Trust Wallet will add an on-chain mobile wallet to the list of Binance services with other future integration possibilities and also shows the importance of secure wallet technology for the future development of cryptocurrency as a whole.
