Huawei Mobile Kenya has today launched Y7 Prime 2019 that will be retailing at Kshs.17,999 in the retail stores across the country. The device will also be available online respectively. Huawei has also partnered with Lipa Later, a credit facility that lets you pay for any device of your choice then pay monthly including Y7 Prime 2019.
The phone will be available on pre-order that kicks off today until 7th of February. Consumers who pre-order will receive a special gift hamper as an appreciation from selected stores across the country. At the same time they will be entered into a lucky draw where winners will walk away with a 40” screen TV, the Huawei Y7 Prime 2019 among other gifts.
The Huawei Y7 Prime 2019 combines technology and stylish design at an affordable price. It features a 6.26-inch HUAWEI Dewdrop display (a teardrop-style notch), a dual 13MP + 2MP camera on the back supported by an 16MP shooter on the front., two-day battery and an octa-core Qualcomm SoC Snapdragon 450.
HUAWEI Y7 Prime 2019 comes with EMUI 8.2. Alongside background optimizations that enhance system operational smoothness, EMUI 8.2 features a range of battery saving measures that help the users make the most out of their device. For instance, EMUI 8.2 features a Battery Saving Mode that disables certain features on the phone for better battery efficiency. These features synergize with the class-leading 4000mAh battery, offering two-day battery life for everyday users.
However, the fact that its an entry-level device means it misses out on fast charging technology, but you get 5V/2A 10W charging technology that delivers the maximum amount of any standard charger. This should slightly lessen the time it takes to fill this massive battery.
The device also supports expandable storage of up to 512GB via the microSD card slot.
