4th edition Nairobi Tech Week Set For April 24th – 26th 2019

The 4th edition of ​Nairobi Tech Week is set to take place on April 24th to 26th, 2019 at Strathmore University with GIZ – Make IT Africa as this year’s Title Sponsor.

Powered by Moringa School, the event is themed, “​Technology in Africa: The Past, The Present and The Future” and will delve into the evolution of technology in Africa, the various solutions being applied in the African context and the exciting opportunities yet to be capitalized on as we navigate the digital revolution.

“Moringa School was built to be the backbone of the technology ecosystem in Kenya, by providing top quality talent to local companies,​” says Audrey Cheng, CEO of Moringa School.“​Nairobi Tech Week is an extension of our mission, and we are excited to bring together toptalent across Africa to learn, build and innovate in a focused environment! NTW started in 2016 because of our commitment to celebrating product makers and we are thrilled to bring it back again in 2019.​”

NTW is an annual technology event for product makers – bringing various actors and influencers within the tech ecosystem to one space to exhibit the forefront of innovation and technology. ​Powered by ​Moringa School​, NTW will take place over 3 days and is expected to bring together over 1500 members of the technology ecosystem to exhibit the forefront of innovation.

This year’s NTW event will include 3 days of hands-on workshops, panels, roundtables, research presentation sessions and a 2-day hackathon with a focus on the people who build and run technology products in Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Platforms, Internet of Things (IoT), Microservices, Technopreneurship, Data Science, and Product Development Tools.
