Seedstars World, the largest seed-stage startup competition for emerging markets and fast-growing startup scenes with the support of the local host Nailab will on June 28th 2019 pick Kenya’s best startups.
Set to be a closed-door, all women jury panel, Seedstars Nairobi will not be open to the public. Besides representing Kenya at the Seedstars Africa Summit, the winner will win an all-inclusive trip to the Seedstars Africa Summit and the chance to win a spot at the Seedstars Global Summit in Switzerland where the winner will take home a 500K USD investment prize In addition, the winner will receive 3 months access to the investment readiness program.
Kenya was previously represented by Bluewave Technologies an affordable insurance platform.

Pesabase | Pesabase is set of remittance, payment and banking solutions that leverages blockchain to provide financial simplification and inclusion in Africa. |
Pezesha | Pezesha is a digital financial marketplace facilitating credit scoring and affordable credit for the unbanked by connecting them with lenders. |
Shamba Records | Shamba Records is a distributed ledger that runs on Blockchain which uses big data and artificial intelligence to collect farm records. This digitized system can be used to track, identify and verify their harvest. |
Smatbeba LTD | Smatbeba is a cargo hailing application and web-interface that links cargo owners to delivery vehicles. |
