Founders Factory Africa (FFA), the corporate-backed tech accelerator and incubator based in Johannesburg has partnered with Netcare, SA’s top healthcare provider to invest in and accelerate 35 startups from across Africa.

Founders Factory Africa and Netcare will take the startups through a six-month programme to help them build completely new businesses focused on addressing key health issues on the continent.
FFA’s pool of talent will help startups work on product development, UX/UI, engineering, investment, business development and growth marketing.

The two will support the startups to deliver innovative opportunities in healthcare in South Africa and in selected areas on the African continent. They will also work together to cross-collaborate across FinTech and HealthTech.
Netcare will provide access to hospitals, primary healthcare clinics and healthcare value chains, deep health technical expertise, data and IP to the startups. Netcare will also have the opportunity to continue investing in the new health businesses once their value propositions are proven.
