Kilifi-based Distant Relatives, an Ecolodge & Backpackers hostel in Kilifi Kenya has announced the launch of Impact Nomads, an impact-based co-working program open for Kenyans and internationals working on or ready to work on innovative products.
Set for the 9th of November 2019, the inaugural digital nomad program for change-makers will kick-off and attendees can pick a 2-week or a 4-week program.
“During this time we focus on growing you as a person and your business. We do this via an array of talks, interactive workshops, individual sessions plus a focus on our mind, body and soul. Topics go from challenges as an entrepreneur, reducing your footprint to removing internal money blocks,” said Sanne Meijboom, founder and CEO of I Like Local.

Impact Nomads also aims to help participants make an impact by co-creating solutions, sharing knowledge and experiences with either entrepreneurs or companies.
“Our goal is to build a digital nomad community of innovators and change makers. With this program we want to go one step further than just work, connect with like minded people and have fun. We would like to co-create impactful solutions with the business skills & experience we have so that we create value while still doing our business as usual,” the Impact Nomads team said.
Participants can join a 2-week program starting on the 9th and on the 23rd of November and a 1-month program starting on the 9th of November. These will give them access to a network of inspiring entrepreneurs, knowledge for growth hacking, creation of true value for a local organization and personal inspiration to become the best at what they do and how to grow themselves.
