Kofisi, a provider of flexible office workspaces in Kenya and across Africa, has launched a new office site in Karen, Nairobi in a bid to meet the growing demand for flexible workspaces in Kenya.
Kofisi, formerly ESBC, is a flexible workspace open to clients who are entering, expanding or entrenching. It offers them desks and offices on demand. Kofisi is like Regus but more flexible and like WeWork and the mushrooming office workspaces and co-working spaces in Nairobi, Kenya.
“As a result of population growth, and infrastructure development, affluent suburbs like Karen are evolving and a need for flexible office workspace is growing.” said Kofisi CEO Michael Aldridge. We are currently in six countries, our vision is to open in 25 cities, representing a market size of 11 million users. Wherever we are, we continue to set new standards by combining high end collaborative African design with global know-how and state of the art integrated technology.’’
Kofisi is not the only player in this market in Kenya. Nairobi Garage recently opened its third space in Karen and there are a plethora of players in this market with a new player launching each quarter. Kofisi’s advantage is that it has over nine centres across six cities, including Lagos, Nairobi, Johannesburg, Kampala, London, and Dar Es Salam. Kofisi is part of Sunbird Africa, a provider of flexible workspace, fit out and facilities management.
