iPhone 12 To feature a radical design change including an upgraded camera

iPhone 12 will feature a radical design change including an upgraded camera, Uniform Bezels and 5G support.

According to the leaks, Apple will be releasing four iPhone models hailing from the iPhone 12 lineup. The phones are expected to feature a display size of 5.4 inches low-cost model,  and two 6.1 inches low- cost and premium model and a 6.7-inch premium model.

This means two of the models will belong to the low-cost category. While the remaining will cement their position in the premium segment, offering more features and an average higher price tag.

All models will feature OLED screens, with the primary differences appearing when measuring the display sizes and the number of cameras.

The pricier iPhone 12 models will come with rear triple camera setups that will also include ToF units. The less expensive models; they’ll offer a dual-rear-camera setup.

As noted in the leaks, the phones are likely to have an iPhone like metal frame design, front-facing camera and smaller size. Additionally, the phones will have face ID components housed inside the top bezel.

The design will as well, include wide antenna lines. The larger one according to the leaks is the iPhone 12 Pro Max.

The models in the concept show a multitude of colour options, similar to what the iPhone 11 provides for the masses, as well as a rear dual-camera.

According to rumours, all three models will get 5G support including Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X55 modem. The devices support a mmWave and sub-6GHz bands.

From the leaked concept video, it shows a quadruple rear camera setup for the iPhone 12. A ToF (Time-of-Flight) sensor added to the rear configuration. This gives both the 2020 iPad Pro and iPhone 12 camera possible Ar-related upgrades.

The iPhone 12 series is rumoured to have the A14 Bionic made on TSMC’s 5nm FinFET EUV process.  The chipset has a  6-12 per cent efficiency improvements as well as 14-17 per cent performance improvements from the upcoming SoC.

Additionally, It’s rumoured that all three models will feature a 120Hz promotion display alongside an improved OLED screen and users will  have a battery smooth experience while viewing content with vivid colours and wider contrasts

There is a possibility that the refresh rate will seamlessly switch between 60Hz to 120Hz to preserve battery life.
