Sony Xperia 5 Plus leaked, Likely to Be The Xperia 1 Successor

Sony Xperia 5 Plus is set for release at the MMC 2020.  The device features a slightly larger 6.6-inch OLED display that presumably boasts a 21:9 aspect ratio. Paired with virtually undetectable side bezels and a uniform forehead. and chin. The current bezels are reduced compared to its predecessor.

Other features include  a quad-lens rear camera with one lens being a Time of Flight (ToF) depth sensor, an 8MP front-facing camera, and dual front-firing speakers

The X Peria 5 Plus according to renders, has a primary camera on the rear side coupled with an ultra-wide-angle alternative and a telephoto shooter.

Additionally, the  Time-of-Flight sensor synchronizes with an incredibly sensitive clock that’s capable of measuring tiny variations revealed by the speed of light bouncing back.

The phone supports a 5G network and is powered bt Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865. It will feature the recently released Android 10 and storage memory of 8GB of RAM with 128GB of expandable internal storage.

Slashleaks, one of the notable device leakers, took to Twitter to announce the Xperia 5 Plus. On the tweet, the device supports 360-degree video +5K renders. Roughly 6.6-inch flat OLED display, dual front-firing speakers, 8MP selfie camera, triple rear camera + ToF.

Other features include  Side-mounted fingerprint sensor,3.5mm Jack on the top frame. It aswell has a boxy metal frame and measures 168.2 x 71.6 x 8.1mm or 9.3mm including rear camera bump.

Sony Xperia 5 Plus versus the  Sony Xperia 1

The renders show a fairly similar design to the current Xperia 5. Although the top and bottom bezels do appear to be slightly thinner.

The Xperia 5 Plus will have an identical 21:9 aspect ratio. This is similar to the Xperia 1 and 5 but with smaller dimensions to make it more comfortable to hold.

The device has 3.5mm headphone jack on top of the phone which is not available the preceding phones after sony discontinued it in 2018.
