Microsoft’s Android app can route photos, incoming notifications, and text messages to your Windows 10 PC. Its latest update feature added something even more useful: the ability to make and receive calls to your PC without reaching your phone.

You’ll need an app installed on both devices to get your Android phone and PC talking to each other.

Download it to your phone from the Google Play Store

Download the Find Your Phone app from the Microsoft Store for your PC.

Make sure you sign in with a Microsoft account on your PC.

When the app is installed on your phone, open it and sign in to your Microsoft account.

Note that you will need to agree to give it permission to access your contacts, phone call log, media, and text messages, and to keep it running in the background.

Connect your phone and your PC

They’re ready to talk to each other after you’ve signed in on both devices. Make sure your phone and PC are on the same Wi-Fi network, and then start the Your Phone app on your PC.

If you see a dialog box that asks you to choose between Android and iOS (iPhone users are currently limited to sending web pages between devices), this means that you haven’t signed in with the same mobile and PC account (or you forgot to log in on one of them).

Once your phone and PC have established a link, you will receive a persistent notification on your mobile phone, which will first ask you to check that you are allowing the device to be connected. Hit the “Allow” button.

Your device should appear on your PC in the Your Phone app at this point. This will include a dialer icon labeled “Calls” at the bottom of the list below the name and image of your phone. This is where you’re going to make calls.

• You’ll have to manually connect your phone to your PC via Bluetooth.
• To connect your Open the dialer section of the Your Phone app on your PC and follow the instructions.  It will send another notification to your phone that you need approval. Phone, enable pairing mode on your Android phone then press the Bluetooth icon to open the settings.
•  From there, enable Bluetooth if it’s off and tap “Pair New Device” or whatever your phone lists like.
• Do the same thing on your PC. Tap the Windows key and type “Bluetooth” to drag the “Bluetooth & Other Devices” settings
• Tap “Add Bluetooth or other device” and tap “Bluetooth” in the box that opens it.
• The same PIN should now be displayed on your phone and PC. If you do, tap “Connect” on both sources to authenticate the connection.
• It will send another notification to your phone that you need approval. You will receive another notification when you request access to the call log.
• You’re all set up to place and receive calls on Windows 10 with Your Phone app.
