Promotions And Transfer Of Teachers Will Be Conducted Online

Promotions and transfer of teachers will officially be conducted online.

The convenience of going digital in this day and age is becoming more appealing especially for most traditional companies. When Covid-19 happened and people noted that they could conduct most of their businesses online a lot more platforms were chose to manage their affairs online.

Nancy Macharia who is the TSC chief executive announced that there will no longer be manual applications for recruitment and promotion of teachers starting from March 1st.

The circular is dated February 15.

“The exercise of activating the emails takes effect from Feb. 15 and will close on April 30. Upon the expiry of the registration window, all emails outside the e-platform shall not be acted upon,”

This circular will be applicable to the teachers who have been employed by the commission and those undergoing internship programs. Before teachers would have to apply for their applications online whereas right now they will have to do it online.

Teachers will also be able to apply for promotions and new registrations will be done online as well. The new project has started when TSC has digitized teachers documents and continue to go digital. If you wish to access the new developments you can check from the TSC website.

An introduction to other digital platforms.

The commission officially launched emails, virtual meetings, remote learning, pay-slips and responses to teachers’ inquiries among others done online. Teachers will be also be able to undergo some training after pursuing short courses to teachers at zero cost.

All teachers including those on internship will have to use an active email in order to access all the platforms benefits and must use it for official communication. The heads will also be expected to open an email for their schools that parents can use.
