Eventtus Introduces “Pay as you Go” Pricing to Help Event Organizers Run Interactive Virtual Events

Eventtus, the MENA region virtual event platform, has introduced its ‘pay as you go’ pricing model to enable event organizers run interactive virtual events and stay connected with their communities without worrying about hefty subscriptions and setup fees.

The ‘pay as you go’ model takes in consideration the number of people attending the event and has no setup fees, no upgrades and no longterm commitments or subscription. All features are available to all customers to help small and large organizations run fantastic and engaging virtual events.

“We are introducing this ‘attendee credit’ model for organizers to buy credit in advance and top it up when the event reaches its milestones,” said Mai Medhat, CEO of Eventtus. “As we are getting ready for the hybrid events era, it’s already challenging enough for many events with a lot of uncertainty. We think it’s only fair to charge our customers based on the number of attendees showing up to their events. This opens the floor for events to offer immersive experience to their virtual audience and in-person attendees.”

Virtual events are technically challenging with event organizers not being used to virtual events yet with all the tech involved. With hybrid events, the organizers have to double the work to organize a physical event and virtual experience, which means double the effort and double the cost. The new model aims to simplify the whole process by making the tech available and easier to use and reduces the cost with a new “attendee credit” available for 12 months and can be used for multiple events.

If an event expects 200 attendees, there is no need for huge setup fees or longterm commitments. However, participants will still have a great event experience, with access to a networking lounge, reliable streaming and many other engaging methods to interact with speakers and exhibitors.

“Our virtual events app is another great testimony to our strategy for making virtual events more engaging and affordable. The app, which is available for all our customers at no extra charge, is another tool for organizers to retarget attendees and keep them focused during the event and also offers more flexibility to participants,” added Medhat. “Attendees can take part in events on their phones, interact with speakers and participants on the go and through a click of a button.”

Eventtus was able to quickly react to the COVID-19 outbreak and came up with a fitting solution for its clients and audience. Last year, Eventtus launched its virtual events platform to help its customers shift from in-person events to virtual events. The virtual platform enabled organizers to stream 2.5 million minutes in the past few months and continues to grow its list of event organizers and game changers in the industry.
