Extreme Tech Challenge inviting applications for 2021

Extreme Tech Challenge, the world’s largest social innovation startup competition is inviting applications for 2021.

XTC is the largest global competition that is inspired by the UN Sustainable development goals. The platform seeks to empower startups to innovate in 7 key categories including agritech, food and water, cleantech and energy, education, enabling technologies, fintech, healthcare, and lastly transportation and smart cities and in addition there will be an award for a female founder and covid 19 innovation award.

The competition gives an opportunity for the contenders to access among others global visibility, the ability to raise capital, corporate collaborations, and interact with mentors who will enhance their skills in tech and support them towards achieving their goals.

The Africa version will be happening for the very first time and it will be launched by two partners, Atlantica ventures and EchoVC.

The top finalists will receive an opportunity to pitch to a panel of investors subject to compliance with all applicable local laws, rules and regulations.

The XTC is a Non-profit organization supported by leading corporations, V, Cs, universities and institutions, the company enables collaboration between startups and global corporations.

The 2020 global finalist include Swidch a cybersecurity startup that helps businesses to identify its users through patented algorithm, one-time authentication code that generates in a network less environment, to tackle problems of identity theft and CNP fraud.

The other finalist was Hala Systems which develops advanced solutions for civilian and asset protection, accountability, and the prevention of violence before, during and after conflict.

Drishti computer AI digitalizes human activities in the factory and allows manufacturers to benefit from human analytics. Drishti wants to use technology to argument people not to displace them.
