Oppo A94 5G: Like a Find X3 Lite-Lite

Oppo A94 5G :phoneaqua.com

Starting at a price range of 34,830 was not that comfortable when I looked at how various retailers are charging for this device. But one thing after, I had to admit that the Oppo A94 5G deserves to be within the price range.

Starting with the 6.43-inch AMOLED display, this suits the model very well, especially if it is backed with a pixel density of 409 PPI. Like the Redmi Note 9T, this device is also equipped with MediaTek’s Density 800U and 5G network coverage. However, you will have to survive without Wi-Fi 6, but at least Bluetooth 5.1 will serve you better. Oppo pairs the SoC with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128 gigabytes of UFS 2.0 storage.

You will see a fingerprint sensor and quad-camera set up at the back of the phone, .an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 48-megapixel primary sensor, and two 2-MP snaps. Well, what for? Macro and depth!. There are two primary colors for the A94 5G , Fluid Black and Cosmo Blue .The phone starts from KSH34,830.

. The A74 has a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen that has a resolution of FHD +. The refresh rate is 60 Hertz – unlike the 5G model, which uses a 6.5-inch LC display with 90 Hertz.

The 5G model also offers a more powerful camera. There is a quad-camera with 48 megapixels in the primary camera, 8MP in the ultra-wide angle, and 2 megapixels for macro and depth. Without 5G, of all things, the ultra-wide-angle camera is not available, and you can snap with 48 megapixels or macros with 2 megapixels.

While Oppo equips the phones with different SoCs, a Snapdragon 480 works in the 5G model and a Snapdragon 662 without 5G. The memory configurations are identical with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory. The same goes for the battery capacity, which is 5,000 milliampere-hours each.

However, the Oppo A74 without 5G offers quick charging with 33 watts, while the A74 5G can only be charged with a maximum of 18 watts.

The Oppo A74 is priced at KES 28 500, and for the 5G model, you pay a surcharge of KES 6486. The A74 5G costs KES 27,135.

If smartphones without 5G(the two A74 models above) are not your match, let us see what this A54 5G offers. The display measures 6.5 inches, and Oppo is now again offering 90 Hertz in the finest LCD quality and FHD + resolution. The 5G processor is the same as in the A74 5G – i.e., the Snapdragon 480.

However, Oppo has now taken over the primary camera from the A94 5G. This means that you benefit from a quad-camera with 48 megapixels in the primary camera, joined by 8 megapixels in the ultra-wide angle and 2 megapixels each for macro and depth. Image stabilized is also nothing here.

The Oppo A54 is equipped with a 5,000 mAh and 64GB for internal storage and 4GB of RAM. At the back of the phone, you will quickly recognize a fingerprint sensor. For the A54 5G, you pay Ksh. 24500.
