Over the past few weeks, Netflix has also reportedly made approaches to some veteran executives in the gaming industry. According to the same source, Netflix is also considered a ” bundle” of games.
Unfortunately, there is no further clarity about what is meant by ” bundle ” or details of what kind of service Netflix wants to make. However, for sure, expansion to gaming seems to make sense, and they have prepared in advance.
Netflix is no stranger to the potential of the gaming market, given that they are increasingly working on series adapted from games such as Dota 2, League of Legends, or Resident Evil. Netflix has also released documentaries on the gaming and esports industry several times, such as High Score and Not a Game.
