On an iPhone 6, how do you take a screenshot?

Although the iPhone 6 is a 6-year-old smartphone, it still operates well and can do day-to-day tasks with ease. Whether it’s the single-camera or the screen, everything has worked out perfectly. People use it to sneak into their phones, invoke Siri, and snap screenshots because it still has a home button and touch ID.

On an iPhone 6, here’s how to take a screenshot.

  • Prepare the material you want to screenshot, whether it’s an app or a website.
  •  To take a screenshot, simultaneously press the Home button and the Side button, which was previously known as the sleep/wake button.
  • You’ll see a preview of the screenshot when the screen flashes for a while.
  • To open or edit the thumbnail, click it.
  • The screenshots are saved in the Photos app and can be seen later.

Assistive Touch

  • Go to Settings and enable Assistive. Tap on the ‘Accessibility’ screen after clicking on ‘Accessibility.’
  • To enable Assistive Touch, click the ‘Off’ toggle option in the ‘Touch’ screen segment. The toggle will become green and bear the ‘On’ sign once you’ve done it.
  • There is no ‘Screenshot’ option, as you can see. Right underneath the Assistive Touch option, click on the ‘Customize Top Level Menu’ button.
  • There are six shortcuts in total. Any existing icon can be replaced, or a new one can be added to the ‘Custom’ icon.
  • Select Screenshot from the Custom menu’s list.
  • From the home screen, you can now use Assistive Touch. Tap on it and select Screenshot whenever you want to take a screenshot.
