Design

Two hundred five grams is the heaviness of the Galaxy A32 5G From the main hold. However, this weight is not fully supported since the rear of the phone is plastic.

The smartphone lacks a photographing module since the sensors are straightforwardly coordinated into the mobile phone’s rear, which stands apart. I think this is a positive point because currently, all smartphones are unbalanced due to the projection of their photograph module.

The front of the Galaxy A32 5G has a  wide screen that borders the integrated front sensor in the form of a drop of water does not allow the smartphone to exceed a size/screen ratio of 82%.On the right side, we find the power button, which also serves as a fingerprint reader. The volume control keys are just above, and unfortunately, far too difficult to reach. Finally, we find the USB-C connector, the speaker, a microphone, and the 3.5 mm headphone jack on the lower edge.

Screen

Samsung is known for the quality of its AMOLED panels, which can be found in many of its competitors. Unfortunately, we see this A32 5G, an IPS LCD screen with a definition of (only) 720 x 1,600 pixels. The A32 5G thus benefits from a barely correct resolution for a smartphone of 270 pixels per inch. The refresh rate is limited to 60 Hz.

Performance: the fundamentals and that’s it

Performance is provided by a Dimensity 720 5G processor from MediaTek, accompanied by 4 GB of RAM. Enough to offer a smooth multitasking experience, even if it is clearly not the lively smartphone in its class. The time it takes for the keyboard to display itself when you want to enter text is quite frustrating. Just remember that, without shining, the A32 5G is a good companion of everyday life for web browsing, streaming and social networks.

Interface

The Galaxy A32 runs android 11 with Samsung’s One UI interface in its version 3.1. However  the latest security patch offered by Samsungis expected to happen this June,TechMoran will notify you whenever it happens.

One UI interface which is one of the most complete in the Galaxy Android is no longer prsented. As complete as it is customizable, it is optimized to facilitate one-handed use on large screens. The dark theme is excellent, even if the LCD screen can not take full advantage of it to save energy as is the case with OLED panels.

At startup, You will  find Samsung applications in addition to those of Google, but also some partner applications such as Spotify, Netflix, Office, OneDrive, LinkedIn and Outlook that is not possible to uninstall them.

A movement to the right allows access to the “Google Discover” desktop, which can be replaced by “Samsung O”. The two newsfeeds work similarly by providing you with content related to your interests and previous visits. It is of course possible to disable this desktop altogether.

Without being a minimalist interface, One UI is much less cluttered than some overlays of Chinese manufacturers who do not hesitate to drown the user under a myriad of applications from the first use of the phone.

audio

The A32 5G is equipped with a single speaker located on the lower edge of the phone. It doesn’t shine by its quality, but will troubleshoot if you want to watch a YouTube video and you don’t have your headphones on hand. The positioning of this speaker is far from ideal. This is because it will be easily obstructed when you hold your mobile horizontally to watch a video or to play.

You will always be able to console yourself with the 3.5 mm mini-jack that does not suffer from any particular defects. The wired hand-free kit provided in the box ensures the essentials by offering correct sound quality and a single button to take calls and pause the music. Bluetooth 5.0 and AAC and SBS audio codecs will be your best allies to listen to your favorite content wirelessly.

Network: 5/5

Beyond its compatibility with the 5G network, the Galaxy A32 5G is capable of accommodating two nanoSIM cards.

NFC for contactless payments is part of the game, as are Wi-Fi calls, if the quality of the mobile network is unstable. The Samsung Galaxy A32 5G is therefore a good phone that should not fail you on the go.

video

The processor of the Samsung Galaxy A32 5G allows the phone to shoot up to 4K at 30 fps with digital stabilization. If you want to record a lot of videos in this definition, we advise you to opt for a microSD card so as not to quickly find yourself cramped, even with the 128 GB version.

autonomy

The Samsung Galaxy A32 5G is equipped with a substantial battery of 5,000 mAh. In the context of a versatile use, we had no difficulty using it for two full days. The two and a half days are quite possible, which is simply excellent. The phone’s modest performance as well as the good software optimization of One UI seem to make the difference.
