LG Tone Free’s TWS line always offers extra features that make it stand out amidst the myriad of other TWS on the market. This also applies to the following latest TWS trios: Tone Free FP5, FP8, and FP9.
All three offer a whispering mode, which can be very helpful when users can’t talk out loud while calling, like in a library. Simply by bringing the earphones right to the mouth, the user can immediately whisper, and the interlocutor is ensured to be still able to hear clearly.
Trio Tone Free FP is equipped with six microphones (three on the left and three on the right). LG also did not forget to embed the active noise cancellation (ANC) feature on all three so that the device remains ideal for use in crowded locations. The whispering feature will also be handy in the crowd, such as in the bus or MRT.
Headphone Spatial Processing and 3D Sound Stage feature is also presented to welcome spatial audio trends while providing a more immersive listening experience to users. Regarding its sound quality, LG claims its three new TWS can produce more powerful bass without sacrificing clarity thanks to the use of enhanced drivers and diaphragm.
By design, the Tone Free FP trio comes with a new design that is sleeker thanks to a shorter stalk of 4.4 millimeters than the previous model, as well as a splash-resistant one with IPX4 certification. FP8 and FP9 both come with exceptional charging cases equipped with anti-bacterial technology like before, with the ability to kill up to 99.9% of bacteria lodged in the speaker mesh.
Especially FP9, the charging case is even more special because it can double the role of a wireless adapter. Using a USB-C to AUX cable, the patient can be connected to various devices, from game consoles to in-flight entertainment systems, and fp9 receives audio signals from those devices wirelessly.
Regarding the battery, FP8 and FP9 are claimed to last up to 10 hours of use or up to 24 hours when combined with the charging case. FP5, on the other hand, promises durability of up to 8 hours, or a total of 22 hours with the matter. Fp8 only, the charging case can be recharged using Qi wireless charger.
