Nokia C20: a budget phone that offers decent performance.

The Nokia C20 is the latest edition of HMD Global’s C series and is the successor to the Nokia C10. It has competitive features at a reasonable price, which is typical of Nokia phones.

Here’s a closer look at everything it has to offer.

  • Design

The Nokia C20, like the C10, has a 6.52-inch display with a dewdrop notch for the front camera and a top-mounted LED notification light. With a resolution of HD+ 720*1600 pixels, it provides some decent visuals that are ideal for entertaining.

The body is pretty sturdy and durable, which is normally a Nokia strength, and they did an excellent job with it. It also boasts a stylish appearance that is both sleek and appealing. Sand and dark blue are the two colors available for the phone.

  • Performance

The Nokia C20 is powered by Android 11 (Go Edition) and comes with two years of quarterly security upgrades. It also offers a user-friendly interface because there are no bloatware apps.

The phone has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage and is powered by an Octa-core 1.6 GHz Cortex-A55 CPU from Unisoc SC9863A (28nm). However, due to its little RAM, it is only suitable for light, everyday operations like browsing, making calls, and using social media, and will lag when used intensively, such as gaming.

It features a 16GB or 32GB internal storage capacity, which isn’t much by today’s standards, but it can be expanded via a dedicated memory card slot.

  • Battery

It has a Li-Po 3000 mAh battery that can last all day depending on how much you use it. It does not, however, have fast-charging capabilities, thus it will take some time to fully charge. To be on the safe side, charge your phone first before leaving the house.

  • Camera

The Nokia C20 has pretty basic cameras even for a budget phone with both front and back cameras being 5 MP. The visual quality is adequate but not exceptional, especially given the poor lighting. Thanks to the LED flash, you can shoot decent selfies and use them for video calls.
