Gainde 2000 and Cellulant team up to improve Africa’s trade environment.

Cellulant has signed a five-year partnership with Senegal-based GAINDE 2000 to provide governments and multinational companies with end-to-end Pan-African technology infrastructure and payments solutions for trade, revenue, and tax collection. GAINDE will combine its e-government solutions with Cellulant’s payment solutions to provide the region’s most comprehensive end-to-end technology and payment solution.

Through the reduction of time and cost in trade transactions, this partnership will provide a digital payments platform that will assist governments in improving their trade environment and meeting the challenges of payments and modern customs administration. Global and regional businesses can use a Single Window system, which is based on a technological infrastructure and provides a suite of services, including a single payment integration into all major payment methods in 35 African countries.

GAINDE 2000 is likely one of Sub-Saharan Africa’s first trade facilitation systems providers. It has a wide range of features and allows traders and shipping companies to submit customs declarations online. The core business of GAINDE 2000 has evolved to include the design, implementation, and operation of digital platforms for governments and businesses. With consulting services in more than 20 countries, it is a key player in Africa’s dematerialization of administrative formalities. GAINDE 2000 has also established a Digital Certification Authority (PKI) called BTRUST 360 that allows them to encrypt and sign data in order to create a more secure and trusted digital environment.
