Eight popular Xiaomi smartphones have risen in price for no reason

Xiaomi has started to increase the cost of some popular smartphones, Redmi and POCO. And even the models announced last year have risen in price.

It is too early for European residents to worry because the price increase is observed only in the Indian market. There, Xiaomi increased the cost of eight POCO and Redmi smartphones at once. At the same time, some of them were presented more than a year ago.

The hit of sales of Redmi Note 10 on Snapdragon 678 rose immediately by KSH 2,000. Now the version with 4 GB of RAM costs Ksh 21,000  instead of Ksh 19,000, and for a modification with 6 GB of RAM, you need to pay Ksh 23,000 instead of Ksh 21,000.

The Redmi Note 10T (aka Redmi Note 10 5G) with a Dimension 700 processor has increased by1650. The price increase affected the 4/64 GB and 6/128 GB configurations. The new cost is  Ksh 22,550 instead of Ksh 20,905 and  Ksh 25,852 instead of Ksh 23,102, respectively.

But the Redmi Note 10 Pro, which we know as the Redmi Note 10S, on the Helio G95 chip has risen in price by only KSh 770 and only in the 6/128 GB modification. The new price was Ksh 24,752.

Also, the Indian representative office of the company raised the cost of the Redmi 9i, Redmi 9 Power, Redmi 9, and Redmi 9 Prime models by the same KSh 770. As for the POCO brand, only the POCO M3 smartphone has risen in price by KSh 770.
