ConDigital, an Ethiopian construction-tech startup, has raised a pre-seed funding round to help it extend its presence in Ethiopia and beyond East Africa.

ConDigital, which was launched in January 2019, digitizes the construction project management process for contractors, consultants, and owners. Data calculation, processing, and reporting are among the services it offers, as are schedule, resource, and financial management, communication channels, centralised cloud file storage, and analytics.

After being accepted into The Baobab Network’s accelerator program in 2019, ConDigital received US$25,000 in funding and has since raised an undisclosed amount of seed funding. The round will help the startup cement its presence in Ethiopia and begin to expand across the East African region, led by an investor from the United States (US) and including angel investors from East Africa, Europe, and Asia.
