New Jeep Cherokee Two Row Teased, to Debut on September 29th

The Jeep Grand Cherokee has been around since 1993 and has been a corner stone of the automaker. In fact, it has been one of the best selling cross-overs in America moving 210,000 units last year alone. However, the current model hasn’t since much in terms of design changes since 2011, it seems time has finally come for an upgrade.

Jeep, earlier this year, introduced the a new three row Grand Cherokee L. To accommodate the third seating row, the car obviously had to grow in length. In the coming days, the automaker plans to reveal an update to its standard two row Grand Cherokee, on September 29th. Luckily, via their Instagram account, a glimpse of the upcoming SUV was teased.

The short teaser video revealed the Grand Cherokee’s front end. It looks similar to the extended version mentioned earlier, though the lower grille opening looks a bit sportier. You also get sleek LED headlights. Based on the leaked images of the upcoming redesign, we noticed some differences are at the rear, where the greenhouse is much smaller while sporting a unique pillar design.
