PesaLink allows you to transfer funds in real-time from one bank account to another. It is available through various bank channels, including mobile banking, Internet banking, ATMs, agencies, and branches.
PesaLink enables you to send money directly to the recipient’s bank account by entering their mobile phone number.
With PesaLink, you can instantly send or receive amounts ranging from Ksh. 10 to Ksh. 999,999.
Link Your Phone
1. Select “PesaLink” from the menu using your preferred Bank channel (Mobile, USSD, Mobile App, ATM, internet, agent or branch).
2. From the PesaLink menu, select “Link Your Phone.”
3. From your list of accounts, select the “Account Number” you want to link.
4. Click “Yes/No” to designate your primary payment account.
5. Confirm the information displayed on the page that you chose in steps 3 and 4.
6. PesaLink will send you an SMS confirmation notification.
Send To Phone
1. Go to your bank’s menu and select PesaLink.
2. From the PesaLink menu, select “Send To Phone.”
3. Enter the “Phone Number” of the Recipient.
4. From the list of bank names, choose Bank Name.
5. Enter the amount to be paid.
6. Indicate the reason for payment.
7. Confirm the information on the page that you entered in steps 3 and 4. The name of the recipient will also be displayed.
8. You will receive an SMS confirmation notification from PesaLink with the recipient’s name, amount sent, and bank name.
Send To Account
1. Go to your bank’s menu and select PesaLink.
2. From the PesaLink menu, select “Send To Account.”
3. Enter the “Account Number” of the Recipient.
4. Choose the first letter of the bank’s name from the list provided.
5. Choose the bank name from the drop-down menu.
6. Enter the amount to be paid.
7. Indicate the reason for payment.
8. Confirm the information on the page that you entered in steps 3 and 4.
