Oppo  Reno6 5G: Hidden Features that you should be taking advantage of right now

Oppo Reno6 5G is a middle segment smartphone that has been on the local market for quite a while. The smartphone was introduced right after the launch of the Reno 5 series at the start of the year. The gadget runs on Android 11 with its ColorOS V11.3, but soon we hope to see an upgrade to Android 12 as promised by the Manufacturer earlier on.

This 5G gadget has several unique features that, trust me it hasn’t caught your attention apart from its eye-catching sleek design. Without beating the bush, here is what you ought to explore.

Smart Sidebar

Take advantage of the Smart Sidebar on 5G gadget, which helps you access shortcuts from all angles of your screen. Swiping from the right side edge, where a little bar hangs on the edge, will bring up the Smart SideBar.The component also provides access to several valuable shortcuts such as screen recording, File Management, snapshots, and the desired applications that you may like.   • Go to settings
  • Tap on convenience tools
  • Choose Wake Google assistant with Power Button

Portrait silhouette

This feature creates a  mockup of your images when they are selected. This works by having the feature enabled and then choosing the photo you want the effects to be seen. Portrait silhouette is a child of Always-on-display feature; thus, to access it

  • Go to settings
  • Hover to personalization
  • Choose Always on display
  • Tap on the Plus symbol
  • Choose Portrait silhouette and click on Generate

Adaptive Screen Refresh rate

The screen refresh rate of the OPPO Reno6 Pro 5G is up to 90Hz. The Display’s refresh rate is set to 90Hz by default, but you may change it to 60Hz if you need a little more battery life. However, if you don’t care about battery life but prefer a 90Hz refresh rate for better scrolling and gaming experience, feel free to leave it else;

  •  Go to Settings
  • Tap on Display and  brightness, then more
  • Choose 60Hz as the preferred screen rate

64MP Camera Mode

If you have an OPPO reno6 5G smartphone by now, you ought to have realized its powers as far as the camera department is concerned. The rear camera of this gadget is rated at 64MP but is off by default.
