iOS 15: Using Tags to Organize Your Notes.

Apple has added a much-requested feature to the Notes app in iOS 15: tags. This means that you can now include hashtags in your notes, which will help you organize them and find them more easily. Let’s take a look at how they function.

Tags can be a powerful way to organize your notes because there is no limit to how many you can have, and a single note can include multiple tags, allowing the same note to appear in multiple tagged categories that you’ve created. In addition, when you add a hash symbol to a note, iOS will suggest existing notes for you to select above the virtual keyboard.

Apple has also added a new Smart Folders option in iOS 15 that you can use to create a folder to house tags. Simply tap the folder icon in the lower-left corner of the Notes overview screen, then select New Smart Folder.

Give the folder a name, then choose the tags you want to include in it. By tapping Create New Tag, you can select tags you’ve already created or add new tags that will be used in future notes… Please keep in mind that only notes that include all of the selected tags will appear in your Smart Folder.
