Xiaomi intends to begin mass production of electric vehicles  come 2024

The chinse manufacturer has finally spoken up by disclosing when he intends to deliver his  first electric vehicles . Xiaomi appears to have no plans to build its own electric car plant. In the automotive business, the shift to electromobility is reshuffling the deck. Long-established carmakers like Volkswagen, BMW, and Mercedes aren’t the only ones who have to cope with Tesla, the electric car pioneer. Xiaomi, for example, has thrown its hat in the ring and is planning to manufacture electric vehicles.

Since the beginning of the year, it has been evident that the Chinese are developing their own electric vehicle. What’s new is how far the plans appear to have progressed. On Twitter, Xiaomi founder Lei Jun stated that mass manufacturing of Xiaomi’s electric automobiles will begin in the first half of 2024
