While the Pixel 5 has a 12.2-megapixel primary camera with a 1/2.55-inch sensor and a 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, the Pixel 6 Pro features a 50-megapixel sensor in 1/1.31-inch format, a 48-megapixel telephoto camera with a 1/2-inch sensor, and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera.

This new hardware is paired with Google’s own tensor SoC, which improves image quality even further. According to DxOMark’s study, the Pixel 6 can now compete with the majority of the competition’s flagships.
