Mwelekeo ni internet is a new campaign launched by Safaricom. The campaign will see the introduction of new data offers, more affordable 4G devices to the Lipa Mdogo Mdogo financing plan, and the demonstration of the internet’s transformative power.
Safaricom hopes to bring more Kenyans into the digital sphere through the campaign by educating them on the power of the internet and demonstrating how it can transform their lives.
Safaricom customers will be able to enjoy 1 GB of data for Ksh. 20 valid for 1 hour and a 3 hour 1.5 GB data bundle for Ksh. 50 with Mwelekeo ni internet. The two new bundles provide customers with more value for their money, allowing them to enjoy their online moments, and will be complemented by other exciting data offers, such as a Ksh. 10 YouTube plan.
Following the launch of the Lipa Mdogo Mdogo financing plan in 2020, Safaricom will introduce two new smartphones in the coming months to provide customers with more options. The Tecno Camon 17 and Tecno Spark 7 are among the devices included in the program, with more devices expected to be added in the coming months.
Safaricom hopes to demonstrate how the internet is transforming Kenyans’ lives by allowing them to connect with family and friends, learn new skills, and grow their businesses through the campaign.
