Panasonic’s whole 2021 OLED TV lineup supports 4K 120Hz VRR

If you own a Panasonic OLED Smart TV and are a new generation, you will get good news from 2021. The firm did update its OLED models for 2021. Panasonic’s JZ1000, JZ1500, and JZ2000 OLED Smart TVs are getting a fresh firmware update right now.

A new version of the internal software (3.124) has been released, allowing TVs to access the 4K 120 Hz VRR “in full resolution” for the first time. Indeed, the latter was previously planned with a vertical definition of “just” 1080 pixels, rather than the 2160 pixels now available.

“Panasonic TVs now offer a great gaming experience in HDMI 2.1,” according to the manufacturer, “while maintaining true to the image quality and optimal color calibration that makes them strong.” It’s worth noting that the update also applies to the LCD-equipped JX970 and JX940 devices.
